Timothy K. Palmer created Elder Law Solutions to provide cost-effective legal solutions to problems that elderly clients and their families typically face. Timothy K. Palmer’s entire legal career has been focused on assisting the elderly with estate planning, estate administration, fiduciary representation and asset protection planning. Elder Law Solutions is an alternative to traditional legal services that are focused on document preparation and a one-size-fits-all approach. With a law firm of experienced staff that provides only elder law solutions, your problems can be solved quickly, efficiently, and with the assurance that you need to give you the right answer at the right time.

We are experienced with protecting your assets in two regards. First, we can protect your assets against nursing home costs, for both single and married persons. We know Virginia Medicaid and can often use Medicaid to pay for nursing home care. We can also create other plans to pay for nursing home care, including private paying and long-term care insurance. We meet with clients and determine the best course of action to pay for nursing home care. Second, we can protect your estate and ensure it passes to the ones you love. We can create an estate plan that takes into consideration a second marriage, children with alcohol, drug, marital or financial difficulties, or a combination of all of these typical issues that affect modern families.
